Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Karen Kassabian has dedicated more than 31 years to providing exceptional dental care with a patient-first approach. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan in 1995.
Licensed to practice dentistry in Canada, Florida, and California, Dr. Kassabian spent a decade living and practicing in Florida before returning home to Toronto. Drawn by her love for the city, its vibrant communities, and the people closest to her, she established her first practice, Dr. Karen Kassabian Dental Clinic, in 2011. Today, she is proud to begin an exciting new chapter with Bloorlea Dental, bringing over three decades of experience, advanced clinical expertise, and a continued commitment to exceptional patient care.
Dr. Kassabian practices a patient-centered philosophy rooted in attentive listening and collaboration, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to individual needs and supports long-term oral health.

Dr. Kassabian completed a year-long residency in Implantology at the University of Toronto, further expanding the clinic's comprehensive range of dental services to include implant therapy. This addition reflects a commitment to providing modern, evidence-based treatment options for long-term oral health and function. After reviewing several of the most established and well-researched implant systems available, the clinic has chosen the Straumann system, widely recognized as a global leader in implant dentistry.
